“Thanks to SSBF, I was able to attend this year’s FICCI conference at Hotel Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai on the 6th and 7th of November, 2017. This annual flagship conference, has become the marquee event in the calendar of members of the entire banking and financial sector fraternity in the country. The conference has truly positioned itself as a leading platform in terms of knowledge dissemination and relationship building. This conference is one of the largest banking conferences in Asia.
We were able to get insights from the key decision makers from across the globe, relating to the fast growing banking industry. This conference was the place to be as it was honored by the presence of many prominent personnel in the field of Banking and Finance including Ms. Chanda Kochhar, Shri N.S Vishwanathan, Mr.Rajnish Kumar and many more. The learning that we students got while attending this event was something that cannot be measured. Being in the presence of such prominent figures and hearing them speak about their insights and thoughts regarding the core and pressing issues and topics of the industry like ‘Finance in Digital Era’, ‘Robotics and AI in Banking’, ‘Commercial and Corporate Credit’ amongst others, helped us in understanding the industry a little more and has spiked our interest, as to what might be in store for us when we actually go out into the market.
