This brought me to cease the opportunity to attend the Winter School Program conducted by the Berlin School Of Economics and Law (BSEL), Germany.
The 2-week course gave me a different perspective of the world that we are in. From learning about the challenges that the European Economy is facing to the booming service sector-the course gave us an insight of the country’s economy as well as depth of business relations worldwide. Moreover, the joy of learning a new language was an experience in itself.
During the course, I was fortunate to visit the Berlin Parliament to understand the EU and the working of the Parliament and its workings. The organisation called the ‘Berlin Partner’ which is the sole caretaker of the Public Relations campaigns for the city of Berlin was very educational. In addition to that, I had also been a part of the focus group in a program called UX-Testing which provides a platform for entrepreneurs to bring their visions to reality by enabling them to display their products and get it reviewed by the customers for further development.
Apart from the classroom knowledge, the exposure I gained by striding the streets of Berlin from its history to its urban roots was an emotion in itself. From the tourist spots like the Brandenburg Gate, Palace of Tears, Jewish Museum, Checkpoint Charlie, Bunker Tour, Urban Nation Museum, etc. to a completely new experience like Ice Skating created unforgettable memories.
In short, the BSEL gave me a learning experience and cultural exposure that will go far ahead in a more holistic understanding of the subject taught and also the various cultures of the world. The friendships and the memories that were made are to be cherished forever.
In a nutshell, all i want to say is: When you are given an opportunity to explore and learn- Carpe Die!
